Devi Shailaputri

वन्दे वाञ्छितलाभाय चन्द्रार्धकृतशेखराम् ।

वृषारूढां शूलधरां शैलपुत्रीं यशस्विनीम् ॥

I Worship the one who can attain or fulfils ones wishes, who is adorned with a crescent moon on her head (as an ornament). Riding on a bull, holding a trident, O Goddess Shailaputri, the illustrious one (I bow to you). Listen to beautiful chanting by Dr P.V. Bose.

Agnisuktam

Lord Agni is considered as the principal deity and represents the divine energy that highlights the power and presence in various forms. Samgathanasuktam
