Peace is a central theme of the Sanatana dharma. Peace is a state of inner tranquility, harmony, and balance. The concept of Shanti from the Upanishads is a universal prayer for peace. It is chanted to invoke peace for collective consciousness. It emphasizes on the nature of reality and can be attained through self-realization and spiritual knowledge.
