– Sri Aurobindo
On the auspicious occasion of Krishna Janmashtami, AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society,
presents a new program ‘Vedic Heritage Study & Research Forum’ and the first edition of this forum will be organized on the theme ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: Vedic Vision of Peace and Sustainability’ on 21st September, 2024.
Vedic Heritage Study & Research Forum, an initiative by AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society, Puducherry focuses on in-depth research and outreach activity for the preservation and promotion of the Vedas. The Vedas are regarded as the fountain head of knowledge and the source of all knowledge and wisdom. Vedas are the timeless texts that hold the key to unlocking the mystery of global history. The visionary, poet, yogi and philosopher, Sri Aurobindo had a close relationship with the Vedic tradition. He revealed the Vedic secret by interpreting and synthesizing Vedic wisdom with contemporary ideas.
Through this forum, efforts will be initiated to connect the institutions and individuals globally for creative dialogue and understanding of the Vedas as the Intangible Cultural heritage. This will focus on institutional networking, research initiatives and community outreach programs for diverse geographical, ethnic, cultural and educational backgrounds.
First edition of this forum will be organized on the theme ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam: Vedic Vision of Peace and Sustainability’ on 21st September, 2024. The orientation session will be co-ordinated by Dr Kishor Kumar Tripathy, Member Secretary, AuroBharati, Sri Aurobindo Society.
